- What is Conuco?
- Conuco is a family-owned Dominican restaurant in Leominster, MA, opened in 2022. We serve traditional Dominican home-cooked meals and street food. The name "conuco" refers to small Dominican farms — a nod to how we cook: by hand, with care, the way our families taught us.
- Where is Conuco located?
- We are at 301 Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA 01453. Plenty of parking, easy access from Route 2 and the Worcester County area.
- What are your hours?
- Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed Monday.
- Do you offer delivery?
- Yes — order Conuco for delivery via DoorDash, GrubHub, Toast, or Uber Eats. You can also place a phone order at (978) 227-5852 for pickup.
- What is mofongo?
- Mofongo is a classic Caribbean dish of mashed-fried green plantains with garlic, pork rinds, and broth. At Conuco we serve mofongo topped with shrimp (camarones), pork rinds (chicharrones), roast pork (pernil), chicken stew (pollo guisado), and more.
- What is yaroa?
- Yaroa is a Dominican street-food favorite — a layered dish of fries (or sweet plantains) topped with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and special sauce. It is one of our most-ordered dishes.
- Are there vegetarian options?
- Yes. Our berenjena guisada (stewed eggplant), mangu 3 golpes, ensalada verde, queso frito, tostones, maduros, and arroz con guandules are all vegetarian-friendly.
- Do you offer catering?
- Yes — we cater family events, office lunches, and parties. Picaderas (mixed platters), family-style mains, and rice/sides scale beautifully. Call us at (978) 227-5852 to plan your order, ideally 48 hours in advance.
- What is your most popular dish?
- Pernil (slow-roasted pork shoulder), mofongo con pernil, yaroa, and Hailey’s Picadera are our top sellers. Sancocho is the move on a cold day.
- Do you take reservations?
- Conuco is primarily a takeout-and-dine-in restaurant. Walk-ins are welcome. For larger groups, give us a call ahead.
